Behind the name MARS Entertainment stands the work of Michael A. Robertson AKA Shotgun Slade, the Scientific Artist, Maestro, Mike Y Dred. Born 1958 in Wilminton Delaware. A town which has produced legends like Clifford Brown Ernie Watts, Papa Dee Allen to name a few.

In the USA Michael did service on the Chitlin Circuit as Bassist in funk and soul bands. He was an “On Call” musician for studio sessions, gospel choirs, community projects and church services.

In Germany Michael has done service as Bassist, Guitarist, Percussionist, Vocalist and Concert Promoter (see history).

In 2002 Mike was Bassist in the band Mutschoko, the band opened the same year for Miriam Makeba in the German city of Marburg.

Michael toured with German Krautrock legends Checkpoint Charlie, the Drummer Lothar Stahl (1977–1982) joined Michael in the group Nations Without Flag.
